Who is Synecdoche?

Founded in 2009 by Lara Severson and Sarah Sweeney-Gerardi, with the assistance of a great group of friends and colleagues, Synecdoche Communications serves the quickly growing community of independent musicians, designers, artists, not-for-profits and myriad others who enrich the San Diego community.  With the recent addition of Jacqui Nguyen, a former TV journalist, and current PR & public affairs professional, the three will focus on tactical communication, issue advocacy, creative event planning and proactive promotion.  The partners have a diversity of backgrounds including work in fashion, marketing, journalism, television, small business, politics & public affairs, music and retail communications.  They look forward to helping their clients find and use their voice to its fullest potential, confident in the knowledge that “simultaneous understanding” can often be just a few clicks of a mouse or lively conversations away.
